2019-2023 Strategic Plan

Following the November 5, 2017 election, the Council decided to do some strategic planning so as to guide its future actions. Elected officials and municipal employees participated in a number of meetings led by an external consultant to establish the Municipality’s priorities for the next five years. A public consultation was also held in May of 2019 to present the main strategic objectives to residents and get their feedback. Three objectives that came out of this consultation were incorporated into the final document of the strategic plan: addressing climate change, conserving our rivers and other water bodies and shore areas, and ensuring that our economic development is sustainable.
