Urban Planning

The Urban Planning Department issues permits and certificates in keeping with the urban planning by-laws and conducts inspections as part of monitoring or to follow up on infractions and complaints. It also responds to requests for information from citizens, developers and builders as well as from future buyers or professionals such as notaries and land surveyors. The Urban Planning Department is also responsible for issuing street numbers.
