The Public Safety Department of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais serves all of the municipalities in the MRC, including the Municipalité de La Pêche. This department, which was created in 1996, has a mission to maintain peace, order and public safety, prevent crime, and search for offenders in order to bring them to justice. In fulfilling its mandate, it takes care to follow the laws and the exercising of individual and democratic values when serving citizens.

The offices of the Public Safety Department are located at 7 Edelweiss Rd. For emergencies, call 911. For non-urgent matters (theft, missing person, etc.), dial 819 459 9911. For administrative requests (documents, information), call 819 459-2422.

Please note that requests for alarm system permits must be submitted to the Public Safety Department of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais. This permit is free of charge and must be obtained in keeping with municipal by-laws, whether the alarm system is connected to an alarm communications centre or not. The request must be submitted on-line to the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais.
