The Municipality is grateful to everyone who participated in the "Our Remarkable Citizens" project for the 2023 calendar. Everyone's involvement makes a difference in our community!
Once again, the population has put the spotlight on remarkable citizens. Many nominations were received, and the selection was incredibly difficult!Twelve outstanding
citizens or groups are highlighted in the 2023 calendar, giving us all the opportunity to get to know them better and thank them for their contribution!
The municipal calendar is a valuable reference tool containing a wealth of pertinent information such as collection days, council meetings, events, and vacations. It also lists the various cultural, sports and community facilities, municipal services and members of City Council.

Who are Outstanding Citizens?
A person or group whose contributions create a positive impact on the quality of life and dynamism of a neighbourhood or the whole community. The person or group may be working in the health care, sport, culture, recreation, education, environmental, or business sectors, etc. For example, a seniors’ club, an environmental activist, an entrepreneur, a farmer, a teacher, a young volunteer, or an artist can be nominated. Or, it may be your neighbour John, because every winter, he offers to help clear your laneway after a big snowfall?
Nominations are open to all individuals and groups of all ages that meet the following basic criteria:
- Be a full-time resident of La Pêche.
- If a group or business, has their head office in La Pêche.
- Has a positive impact on a neighbourhood or the community.
