Communications

The Communications department is part of the Recreation, Culture and Community Living department. It plans and organizes the Municipality’s information, communication and public relations activities, and works to preserve good communication between the municipal administration and the public.

The responsibilities of the Communications department include: managing and updating the Municipality’s web site and preparing the municipal bulletin, providing information on municipal programmes and services, and organizing special events such as the Municipality’s annual recognition event. In all of its activities, the Communications department strives to promote the image and influence of the Municipality.

The person in charge of communications implements policies, programmes and tools for consultation, communication and internal and external information and also advises the Municipality’s other departments.
